March 2020 Centennial Celebration Cancelled Due to Coronavirus
After much discussion, the Board of the Federal Bar Association has made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the Leadership Summit and Centennial Celebration and all affiliated events (Capitol Hill Day, Moot Court Competition, Leadership Training, Rising Professionals Symposium) next week in Washington, DC because of the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19. We are disappointed that we cannot celebrate the FBA’s 100th anniversary with you, and we know that you are disappointed too.
We are in the process of working through possible arrangements to postpone some of the events to a future date. Once these arrangements are made and announced, we will provide information on refunds. Please note that for all attendees, hotel and air reservations must be cancelled by the individual who booked the reservations. It is up to the individual airlines to determine whether they will waive change fees or issue credits for the tickets. If you have problems in cancelling your hotel reservation, please contact Caitlin Rider at crider@fedbar.org.
Thank you for your participation in the FBA and your support of our programs. We hope to see all of you soon.
Sincerely,
Christian K. Adams Stacy King
National President Executive Director
